I have ther RockSolid Winch Bumber with the Pre Runner bar. It has held up well for me.
You will see a bolt on the back side and one on the overhead. I used a opened wrench on the back side and a ratchet and socket on the overhead bolt. Once you remove all four bolts two on each side you can open the hood. The hood will not pop up on it's own as the springs are part ov the latch...

Yes they are marine vents. Mine are stainless because they were free so I painted them black. When I put them in I did not cut any hood suports.

In this picture you can see how I moved the new rad forward. I cut a slot in the old hole and welded a fender washer for the new bottom mount. This was maimley because I put in a oversize rad.
After removing the stock manul fan I ground down the studs even with the nuts to give more room.
