replace the thing you cant go wrong..been there and done that.i went threw the same thing,not good on the beltway(washington d.c.)average speed 75-80 mph..

do not use emt(electrical metallic tubing)for cages or exhaust systems..it is good for wiring,not strong enough for cages.emt puts out a harmful gas if exposed to high temp.you could use thick wall rigid conduit.....

i installed a pair of 6x9s in the doors, piece of cake

i installed a alpine 9803 head unit and installed 6x9s in the front doors,just a little cutting,it sounds great,the 6x9s are polks.

did this mod. 4yrs ago.if you do this, donot put sound dead mat. in the door it will sound to muddy..enjoy the sounds

i had some neighborhood _ _ _holes break into my xj,trashed it,they tried to steal the radio(had a surprise for them on that one).......cops could not do a thing,one was 12 two others 13.... they see me driving down the street and they just sneaker @ me....i told them that the day they turn 18 i...

its held on with adhesive,no plastic tabs at all..if you take it off you will have some fading..i have a 94 xj and thats how mine is...

i cut in 6x9 polk audio speakers in my front doors,installed dyno mat.. the sound is pretty good .... good luck!!!!!
