Hey all....I"m in the process of replacing my rear bumper on a 96SE. Bumper is black painted only number stamped on it is 21618 and a build date. Already returning one to Rock Auto that is incorrect fit...can any of you fine folks steer me to one that fits and accepts the factory plastic end...

could be your fuel injectors...those little solenoids do make a racket sometimes...not a problem if it is....just to the screw driver to the ear thing to find out.......

Just take off the bumper mounting brackets from the bottom side....eight bolts...bumper and all comes off then...at least it did on my '96

OEM wires from the dealer do it for me...

My 96 xj 4.0 wouldn't start with a po320 code....replaced the camshaft position sensor and it cleared up.

I ordered,received, and installed new hubs and bearings for my XJ...got them from Tapco....ordered them online at Tapcos site with my credit card. Within days had to kill my credit card account because of fraudulent charges...now getting emails supposedly from Tapco asking for my acct. numbers...
