    Upgraded radiator

But I didn't say it overheats. It used to overheat on the freeway if the traffic slowed down. After I replaced the radiator, the first trip to Big Bear at the warmest part of the day, it started to get a little warm, meaning it got up to 210 and I kicked on the 2nd fan and it went right back...

    Upgraded radiator

Your right, I thought I had bought it direct from CSF but I think it was radiator barn. If I send back a bent radiator and they send me a 2nd unit, you would think someone would inspect it to make sure it is not bent, lol.

    I guess I don't have a good radiator then:doh:

    Upgraded radiator

I bought a CSF and it came bent, so I sent it back and they sent me a second unit also bent. So I sent that one back too and went to Napa and bought an OEM replacement and it works awesome. Personally I would stick with OEM and spend the $ on the fans. I wired in a switch to kick on the aux fan...

For the wheel experts out there, size question

I just noticed that backspacing on a stock wheel is 5.25". Will the 3.25 bring the wheels out too far? What are others using with a 33x12.5? Thanks,

For the wheel experts out there, size question

Thanks, how about that 3.25" backspacing? How will that work on an XJ with 12.5" tires?

For the wheel experts out there, size question

I have a Jeep (XJ) with 15" KMC Enduros and 31x10.5x15. The Jeep has a 3.5" lift and when my tires are shot I plan to upgrade to a 4.5" lift and 33" tires. I am pretty sure my KMC wheels are 15x7. The recommended wheel width for a 33x12.5x15 is 8" or 10". I found a set of Eagle 187s on CL very...

    Looking For Car Alarm Installer

Small world, Dub and I worked together at Directed for many years. And I'm sure it goes without saying since it sounds like you and E know him well but he definitely knows his stuff so if he is closer to you, Wally would be a great person to install any alarm. Long before I had my XJ, I used...

    Looking For Car Alarm Installer

His name wouldn't happen to be Wallace would it? I know just about everyone at Directed (aka Viper) and he is the only one I can think of with 3 XJs. Toby

    Looking For Car Alarm Installer

Hi E, I know this post is a week old (I should visit the forum more often) but if you are still looking for someone I sell and install Viper, Python and Avital car alarms. I am also a hot rodder and sort of specialize in vintage cars. I have been installing for 20 years and worked in the...

    Dodge 1/2 ton thoughts.

I have had 2 Dodge vehicles with the 4.7L. First was an '02 Ram 2WD 4.7L manual trans. I got 19-20MPG regularly on the highway so I think 15-18 with a 4WD is reasonable. Awesome truck, never had a problem other than the rack and pinion going out but they fixed under warranty. As far as...
