is it worth it to swap a disco housing for a non disco?

You could always do what I did to mine. I cut the disco part of the axle off and sleeved the both sides with some 3"x.250" DOM tube.

    OTK steering questions

I run a cross over steering bracket from Blue Torch Fab on my D30. I use the BTF bracket along with Ruffstuff Specialties trackbar and cross over steering kit. Before anyone says anything about the draglink bolt being too short, it has been swapped out for one the correct length.

How To: Put new floorpans and patch holes in my XJ (really long)

Sorry for the late reply, I thought I was subscribed to this thread so I would get updates. To answer your question, the floors are holding up really well, and the Herculiner is holding up good as well.

    VisionX Rocklight install help

They hold on pretty good, the only time I have had one come off was when I hit it with the pressure washer. They don't come off when driving or wheelin'.

    fuel injector ?

Like mentioned above, use the schrader valve at the test port to depressurize the system. Make sure to have a towel around the valve when you do it also, so you don't have fuel spray out.

    fuel injector ?

I pulled mine from a Neon and a Stratus with the 2.0L, I can't remember the years. I just asked the guy to point me in the direction of the Neons and I looked at the injectors for the correct number. Since these are coming off of a 4cyl engine, you will have to pull injectors off of two cars...

    fuel injector ?

I just put Neon injectors in my 87. It starts quicker, idles smoother, and has more "get up and go". I was very supprised when I punched the gas going down the road and the Jeep actually grunted and took off. I should also say that the injectors I had were mismatched, 3 silver and 3 black, and...

Engine Hesitation and Stumble TPS? Paging 5-90

I may have found my problem. Due to a rusty tank, I am using the POR-15 tank restore kit to clean it up. Before draining my tank, my fuel gage read just below 1/2 tank (~10 gallons) I hooked a battery up to my fuel pump, and let it start pumping gas into a 5 gallon gas can. Right as the fuel was...

Need a Super High Temp RTV or similar product

I tried welding it, but since it is cracked all the way around, it can't be fully welded. I don't want to go through the hassle of removing it just to put it back in without replacing it with a new one. If I can't find a good sealant, I may just go ahead and remove it, take it to school, sand...

It was cracked before the drop.

Need a Super High Temp RTV or similar product

I would replace it, but I am not going to replace it until I get new mounts, and I am got going to get new mounts until I get an SYE.

Need a Super High Temp RTV or similar product

I think the reason that it keeps breaking the "patches" that I try to make, is because the tube is cracked all the way around the tube. New engine and trans mounts are on my list of upgrades to do next. I plan on doing the mounts, manifold, and SYE all at the same time. I just need something...

Need a Super High Temp RTV or similar product

Ok, I still have a cracked manifold and really don't want to take everything appart to replace it just so it can crack again. I tried using the Thermo-Steel stuff, and it worked for a while, but it eventually cracked appart. I even used some fine mesh to strengthen it, it held for a while, but...
