I wish I could afford to flush $320 down the toilet.

A 1978 Monza was my first car. Mine didn't have the 305, I had the buick 231 which would have been perfect for this turbo kit - Gran National baby!

Did you try asking at JeepsforJesus.org?

XJ still overheats - have overhauled everything.

Glad that you got it solved. Count the number of cooling fins per inch on the aluminum radiator, and compare that with the mopar radiator - i bet you'll find there are way more fins on the mopar than the aftermarket one.

Brief misfire/stumbling/rough idle after starting XJ when hot.

This is why I love Naxja.org - I have started experiencing symptoms as described (long cranking, rough idle/stumble), and in less than a minute and on the first page of posts, found this. Thanks Naxja.org, thanks Tim_MN.

Anyone use OME LIGHT DUTY leafs?

I have the OME leafs that came with their 2" lift kit - don't know if those are LD, MD, or HD. They rode a bit stiffer than the totally worn out stock leafs that were on there. Have had them on since 2008, and they look like the picture djlarroc posted - totally flat, no arch to them. If I...

Also free to good home, a set of used trunk hatch hydraulic lifts from a '96 xj for those of you who might want to use them for your hood instead. They don't have enough oomph to lift the hatch. Will separate if you only need 1. You pay shipping.

Meant to do this prior to the long Memorial Day holiday, but it is what it is... Free to good home: One used stock 1997 XJ radiator, the kind with aluminum tubes and plastic side tanks. Had about 120,000 miles on it when it was removed. Did NOT leak when it was removed, nor did I ever...

E-Locker for the 8.25"... Who wants it??

Yep, I'm interested in an E-Locker for the 8.25" too. I'm surprised there isn't one already.

CSF 3 Row Radiator the best way to go?

CSF, that's who. I just bought one of their all metal 2-row radiators from radiatorbarn.com. It came sans cap. It also came with a catasrophically crushed box, but I don't blame CSF for that. XXXXing UPS - they don't even give you an opportunity to refuse the package. I was home, but the...

yes I searched, Ride after 2 inch lift

Agreed. I put on the 2" OME lift with stock control arms, and it's a much firmer/bumpier ride than before (granted, the stock springs and leafs were shot).

    Annoyingly high exhaust resonance

Welcome to the world of FlowMaster resonance - that trademark FlowMaster sound. I took mine off after two weeks.

    Oh no, broken bolt--

Had the same happen to me - even broke the ez-out trying to remove it. Then spent the next hour or so trying to drill it out with no success (guess I need some new/better drill bits). I just left it. Seat seems fine so far.
