my 90 laredo purchased new also with 215/75-15 Michelin X/C.... agree right at 50k on them... then i put 245/70-15 on it before trading it off in 93.
and i changed the speedometer gear... think 2 teeth.... but don't remember.
Loctite and Anti sieze.... believe they are contradictory.... :)
I was 'wondering' about the heat factor of the engine on the strength of the 242... seems okee dokee after viewing data sheet

have you looked at distributor cap and rotor? is the rotor turning?
i do agree on potential CPS problem, but the above contradicts the usual symptoms

first suggestion... check for broken wire or pinched wire... the 6 volt is of course an issue... need to make sure that reading is correct.
check voltage at both sides of the ballast resistor on the driver side fender...
are you sure when wiring the pump the leads are not touching the...
relays swithing off and on... that is one possible clue...
what controls them? ECU ? U may have to dig deep in wiring diagram.
can you tell 'which' relay is cycling?
the starter relay has outputs to the ECU, Fuel pump ballast resistor, and to starter solenoid...

think 89 was the change year for the C101... 88 and back have them...
there are plenty of no start threads here, with varying results from varying problems.
I have seen a different setup than the antirattle clips shown on page 2.
replaced front pads on a friend's 95 xj, believe he brought raybestos pads. inside were thin formed 'shims' (for lack of better word) of varying thickness.

The ECU sends a signal to the IAC motor to open the orifice slightly, increasing the air flow around the throttle plate, increasing the idle.
Don't think the timing is a factor... but could be wrong...
is your throttle body clean? is your IAC clean? how about grounds?

3XJ makes an excellent point, these are application specific... the higher pressure and the #/hr are quite a bit different than the renix application....

you may want to fish the 'rest' of it from the valve cover.... it will be a broken up ring of 'almost' rubber.
i have also seen the halves on e$ay for a decent price...

That is correct, the bearings have to be pressed off of the shafts, but you have to pull the axle assembly out of the housing... with the bearing on it...
the C clip rests inside of the carrier and prevents the axle from coming out of the spider...
