Try www.4wheelparts.com. I was in the same boat last year. Alabama Cylinder Head was out, but they had inventory in stock. Just search cylinder head on the 4 wheel parts site and you will see it. Good luck. I also saw a used head on daveys jeep website for around $200.

The additon of bumpstops sounds like the perfect solution for the time being. How much higher is the pinion on the HP vs the LP? Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for the replies. It is going to be lifted about 5 inches by the end of the summer but it is stock now. My concern is where the exhaust runs across the oilpan. At stock height I am worried about the pinion yoke hitting this exhaust pipe. I can leave the front shaft out for a short time...

I am not ready to lift, but I need brakes, hubs, and balljoints on my current lp 30. I picked up an HP 30 in good condition and I need to know if it will bolt into a stock 2000XJ? It looks like the driveshaft may hit the exhaust. If anyone has done this please let me know how it turned out...

The jeep is presently a stocker. No skid plates or heavy bumpers. My previous experience with RE springs gave me 5 inches of lift from 3.5 inch springs, this was on a TJ. So 1-3 inches of margin is a gamble. Maybe I will think about the same lift from re and substitute 4.5inch springs and 32's...
