This isnt just a project for me, my dad would be in for this project too. I guess it would be like a 4wd car for me and him.. and if i find that the cost is going to be in the thousands.. then i will just buy another one.. but all in all this project isnt in any rush so im not that worried about...
its also more than that.. have too much money put into this one already.. cant just let it go.. and.. yes its too far away, im only 17.. dont have time to go to FL to just get a car.. cant miss school..
There is also the thing that when i start on this 4WD conversion, ill have another car...
Heres some pictures with better light.. the cuts in the tire is what im trying to prevent.. it happens when i hit bumps and etc
Can anyone verify that
235/75/15 on 15x8 with ~4.5" BS will work?
Does anyone know what gear ration my current rear axle has? This is a 2WD 91 2door XJ with a 4.0 HO engine. I also hear that i need to get a 4WD tranny.. is there a way to make my current tranny work? without modifications?
no problem man, this fix doesnt take long and is well worth doing. It fixes a lot of annoyances :D
i just used a F'in big screw driver and it slid off :D
