    AUX fan short circut

Just realized I can ground my test light through either side of the fuse connection. What does that tell me?

    AUX fan short circut

Alright so here is where we stand. My owners manual says that that fuse controls the A/C compressor clutch relay, the radiator fan relay, the evap/purge solonoid, the low washer level switch, and the park/neutral position switch. I unplugged the A/C compressor and its relay, the aux fan and its...

    AUX fan short circut

Interesting, I will have to do something like that. It is an acctual short, the number 17(I think) fuse in the underhood power distribution center blows when I put another fuse in there.

    AUX fan short circut

Already searched, I think this is a new problem but my AUX fan/A/C clutch circut is shorting out. Anyone have luck hunting down a short circut before? Any advice?

    Some cooling questions as usual

Awesome, thanks for the sound advice! I found an easier way for me, I just took the old fan clutch, drilled a couple holes on each side and stuck a couple cotter pins through. Its all locked up now. I would advise anyone who tries this that when its rotating the clutch will fling out all the oil...

    Some cooling questions as usual

Alright so maybe you know how much trouble I have been having with my jeep maybe you do not. I just took the cooling system all back apart to test the components and replace the waterpump, thermostat, cap, and install a fan spacer. My questions are: When I run water through the radiator there is...

    Cooling issues/bad head gasket?

Ok I took the jeep home from where it was parked (about 30 miles). Here is what I did to get it home, I put some radiator flush in hoping beyond hope that it might help me out, flushed it clean (no change) took out the thermostat added water and coolant and proceeded to drive home. About half...

    Cooling issues/bad head gasket?

Awesome, well that will now be on the first to replace list. What brand radiator is your new aluminium one?

    Cooling issues/bad head gasket?

Ok so here is where I stand right now. I started it up today to check hose tempuratures and see if things are flowing correctly. The upper radiator hose was cool untill the tempurater gauge inside read normal. As soon as it hits normal the hose heats up followed by the radiator. The temp gauge...

Where/how should I check it and what will that tell me?

    Cooling issues/bad head gasket?

It cost $60 bucks to get the head milled and another $100 or so for the head kit. I got the gasket from Baxter Auto parts. I will do another hydrocarbon check this weekend when I have a spare moment. I sincerely hope it is not a cracked block. I have let it warm up with the cap off and never...

Well that leads me to believe that I could have replaced the head gasket for nothing. HAHA. Oh well. Mine is a 96 how about yours?
