I finally got it! I had to build a wooden stand to keep the transmission upright. A little love with a block of wood and a hammer did the trick. Thanks for taking the time RCP Phx.
Thanks to everyone in advance! The bearing is new and directional. It only has one groove for the snap ring, so I know the direction is correct. I'm hoping once I shift through the gears it will "relax" into place. If not I guess I'll be taking it back apart.
Like the title says. Almost finshed with a rebuild. The front counter cluster snap ring fit right in place, but the main bearing snap ring won't go. The case has been bolted together and fits flush. Its #5 and #6 in the link below. I'm reading how to post pictures and links right now, so if this...
