i did the 1 2 3 hold bleed trick, and just a single pump and bleed for a good 20 minutes and when i cracked the bleeder it shot out a good 7 feet. ill bleed it some more though.
Hey guys, so i have a 91' with a ax-15 and i replaced my clutch this weekend, and after fighting with stripped bell housing bolts and a seized pilot bearing i go the new pressure plate, clutch disk, pilot and slave reinstalled. I bled the clutch line for about 30 min untill new fluid was showing...
drilled and slotted rotors lets water and other gunk into the slots making them not as effective. so for low speed and large tires, more surface area on the rotor for the caliper to grab the better. just my .02
I got my lift this last winter for my 91 XJ before RE went under for reconstruction. Im pretty sure i was one of the last orders placed... Are these leafs the "older" ones or the new china version?
Well i plan to run a set of these RCV shafts https://www.rcvperformance.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=59&products_id=101, so wouldnt that relieve some stress from the R&P?
is there a carrier break for the OX? how about using thicker gears? Im trying to save this 30 because of the OX i put in it, but now my plans involve 35 claws and a 4.6 stroker so i need something that will hold up.
But then the down side is how deep i can gear with the d30. 4.88 is the deepest available for a d30, compared to a d44 where they are capable of 5.13s which would be premium with 35s. And with the deeper gear the easier chance of breaking. So would i be blowing out R&Ps often?
