Should I lift my 92 XJ 4.0L with 240,000 miles?

I'd say lift it and enjoy it. You can always swap the suspension over to a newer XJ if you need to (that's my plan for when mine dies/falls apart).

How long do I have to order these? I want a hoodie and a hat, but I'm not sure it's in the budget right now.

yeah i know another lift question

You should probably try the TC drop first. If it works, then great! If not, then you'e out, what, $20? That's if you don't resell it. For a 4.5" lift, you might need to start looking in to steering upgrades. You might be able to redrill the trackbar bracket and use your stock parts, but I...

    Build Lift

You could save a little money by building a bastard pack out of S10 or Dakota leaves. This consists of combining leaves from your stock pack and the donor pack to get the amount of desired lift. I've heard that these packs flex pretty well. I've heard great things about the RE 4.5 SuperFlex...

Easy off door mod not so easy

I'm curious as to why you're having to modify a bit to fit the bolt. With the proper size bit, a 1/2" drive ratchet/breaker bar, and some PB Blaster, the doors should come right off. I haven't actually done this on a Cherokee, but I have removed doors from rusty 70's muscle cars and classic...

    FS 86 XJ Parts

How much would you want for the front driver's door and fender? Do the doors have power windows/locks? I'm in Reno, so I can come pick them up. Thanks!
