Installed a new Optima battery and custom tray today and found a wire that mounts in the stock OEM battery tray. Can someone tell me what its for?

I cleared the code and it hasn't come back on yet.

Before I bring it back to the A/C shop, is there a way to reset the computer and see if the code comes back?

I successfully used the key on, key off technique in the link and got a Code 33 which says Air conditioning clutch relay, Wiring to A/C clutch fault. I recently had the A/C compressor replaced. Do you think it's related to the new compressor or is it something else in the A/C system?

The check engine light on my 96 XJ came on today. Jeep seems to run fine. I checked my Haynes manual and it listed the process to get the light to blink out the trouble code. I tried the process but the light didn't blink but stayed lit. Any suggestions? Can I use a code reader instead?

I have a chance to get a good deal on a stainless Gibson header for my 96 XJ. I'm currently running the Cat and a Flowmaster. I have 4 hole injectors and I'm planning on getting bored out throttle body and a less restrictive air filter. Is the header going to make much difference in performance?

The seats are in and they're great. The only thing I had to trouble shoot was the driver's seat would not operate until I swapped in the memory box from the Grand Cherokee tracks.
