You're right, sorry, I had a feeling there might be a NON-XJ tech forum was in a rush and didn't take the time to look.
Thanks for the info, I was able to get in with a long pair of harbor freight needle nose pliers and hammered it in to tear down the sides until it eventually caved in a came...
not XJ related, but could be relevant.. On my 2005 Ford Escape, there's a coolant nipple tube going into the block in the valley between cylinders. The tube holds the other end of the coolant hose coming out of the water pump. It's 32mm (1 1/4") ID and pressed in. For the life of me, I can't get...
more info, still confused.. when I jumper the a/c clutch banana connector wire directly to the battery, the clutch engages, but when i jumper relay port 30 directly to 87 nothing, even with the low pressure switch jumpered... so it seems like there's a wire issue between the relay post 87 output...
Anyone know the location of the A/C fuse for a 1990 xj if there is one? Don't see one on the driver-side fuse block
relay tests good, jumpered the low pressure switch and still not able to get the clutch to engage..
Anyone happen to have two 235/70R16 tires with low tread for cheap? 10-20% is good.. just need a couple tires to hold me over until the winter gets a little closer so I can buy me some new winter tires for the mountains
current front ones are bald now and we're starting to get into the rainy...
honestly, i'm not worried about smog, more worried about if its necessary since I'd prefer not to leave a gaping hole in the airbox... if its only $4'ish i'll grab another one.. any idea what its name would be? kinda hard to just search hose :)
thnx for the info
Due to work, I don't have the time to make it to pick-a-part .. does anyone happen to have a serviceable hose for sale that goes between the exist (after the collector) to the side of the stock renix airbox? Mine is toast...thanks
sorry bro, my jeep broke down and is stuck in another city and my ford escape broke down and i'm stuck up in the mountain, so I couldn't get to you monday
