That is the harness that carries the wires to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The terminal part is the pin number on the connector at the PCM. Looking at the FSM for my '00 shows the wire from the sensor going to C1/P16 which is the black connector on the PCM. Not sure what color or pin it...
Here is the inverter I have installed. Works great for just about anything I run.

All I do is hook-up a solar battery charger to it when I am not using it to keep it charged.

My thoughts are that yes, there may be a temperature increase under the hood, but it is not of such a prolonged period that it would do very much harm. I mean we're talking about just filling up. What about, for those of us without a fan switch/timer who drive for hours and then park the...

Thanx to all for brining this thread back up. Definitely something I am going to be doing. Never truely understood the purpose until now. Duh.
I do have one question though, if going with a higher rated alt., is this mod needed?
Paradise...I thought about that LoL
dagr8...I was thinking the same thing. Doesn't look like it does much as far as sound deadening goes anyway. Trust me...it is bone dry whatever it is. Maybe I can sell it anyway LoL
Thanks again all!!
Hi all, just another quick noob question...I was taking off the interior trim over the weekend and when I pulled the trim piece off of the passengers side (the little cubby hole piece) there was a rectangular black plastic bag stuffed down in there. Any idea as to what this is? to remove...
