My Rock Jock 60 has more clearance than the shaved 8.25 it replaced - I lost the measurements I took back then, but the 60 has 10 5/8" clearance with my 35's, and that's with the skid plate under it.
There's more to it than that, the bottom of the Currie is smooth from front to back.
Thanks for posting your build, they're getting few and far between around here. I've always lacked the concern to photograph my progress, and I regret that now. Glad to see you took the time to document the changes, keep posting!
Nice pictures, thanks for sharing. Looks like your daughter had a great time, that's a great age for exploring.
On another note, I think the Country interior with the 'wood grain' was the classiest.
I've had the Currie ones, and bent them. The whole top plate bent, deformed around top of the leaf spring. Both of them. A little thicker material and they would survived. It's a shame because the design is pretty cool.
I currently have the Dirtbound ones and so far so good, but haven't thrashed...
Another vote for StinkyFab. I run the Poly Performance 3 link(they stopped making XJ stuff) which is where the SFR design came from.
I ran it as a 4-link with the D30, but went to 3-link with the D44 because the axle and bracketry are much stouter. Can’t tell an ounce of difference between the...
