You're right but I was trying to see if there's a way to intercept that, but the more I think about it, I don't think it's possible. Like was mentioned by you and pelican, I guess my only option is to add a thermostat switch like the one I have for my Taurus fan. I just may wire them...

On my '94, when the A/C is on and temp drops to 190, the aux fan goes off. I was hoping not add a separate controller if possible.

I replaced the IAC unit a few months back and somewhere in a post regarding installation, they said to follow a certain sequence after it was installed. It was regarding disconnecting the + battery cable for a certain length of time then touching it to ground to discharge capacitors (??)...

Thanks for the advise. The nearest bone yard is 100 miles away for me. I ended up buying a Chinese fan but will be looking for a backup. Not sure the $112 motor isn't foreign made as well???
