    94 XJ (many upgrades) Moab

I cut an opening in the lens and inserted the LED light bar and then sealed it to keep out moisture. http://www.retro-solutions.net/

    94 XJ (many upgrades) Moab

It's been about 4+ years ago I did that project. My friend and I did it in a few hours. We just took the OEM bumper off and assessed how to do it and was a fairly painless project. I had pictures at one time but not sure where they're located. They may have evaporated when I got a new...

    94 XJ (many upgrades) Moab

I'm moving and retiring. I'm saddened to be selling my XJ, but it's time to move on. There's other minor mods that have been added but not listed below. It has a slight crease on the drivers side back door from a tree limb. Currently, the back seat has been removed but it can be reinstalled...

A/C AUX fan switch (sort of)

Think I found my answer: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/auxillary-fan-override-switch-write-up-pics-811703/ Most of the replies had to do with '96+ Mine's a '94 which of course is OBDI. Thanks all (and especially for fyrfytr's write-up) for your input, as I would never have found the...

A/C AUX fan switch (sort of)

I have that setup. It just overrides it so I can control it manually (on/off). I want the PCM to control it like it does for the A/C

A/C AUX fan switch (sort of)

Pretty much. I also moved the radiator forward about an inch.

A/C AUX fan switch (sort of)

You're right but I was trying to see if there's a way to intercept that, but the more I think about it, I don't think it's possible. Like was mentioned by you and pelican, I guess my only option is to add a thermostat switch like the one I have for my Taurus fan. I just may wire them...

A/C AUX fan switch (sort of)

On my '94, when the A/C is on and temp drops to 190, the aux fan goes off. I was hoping not add a separate controller if possible.

A/C AUX fan switch (sort of)

Thanks for your reply. Basically I want it to come on / go off at the same settings that happen when the A/C is on. I believe it's 195 on / 190 off ??

A/C AUX fan switch (sort of)

I'm wanting to have my AUX fan to come on as it does when the A/C is on, BUT WITHOUT having the A/C on. I want to retain the default (factory) A/C auxiliary fan on/off settings when I run the A/C. I have a manual switch now, but would rather have it come on automatically at the default A/C...

    Idle air control unit install

Thanks for the feed back jakbob & Talyn. I'm inclined to agree that anything more than disconnecting the battery for a period of time and maybe touching the disconnected + lead to the - lead (for what ever that's worth?). I also thought maybe standing on one leg touching my nose may also be...

    Idle air control unit install

I replaced the IAC unit a few months back and somewhere in a post regarding installation, they said to follow a certain sequence after it was installed. It was regarding disconnecting the + battery cable for a certain length of time then touching it to ground to discharge capacitors (??)...

    Saving the Stock Aux Fan

Thanks for the advise. The nearest bone yard is 100 miles away for me. I ended up buying a Chinese fan but will be looking for a backup. Not sure the $112 motor isn't foreign made as well???
