thanks guys fuse in resister was open new resister cost me 12.95 works great now

do you know what the resstance of resister is and i was looking for wireing diagram for the switch -also is the resister in the motor housung area

i have a 96 cherokee the ac-heater fan only runs on high can't find a wire diagram not sure if switch or resister,, motor runs and sounds good on high

trying to remove stering damper from 96 cherokee can get all bolts out but can't drive the tapered end out of track bar -- soaked with pb blaster hit with bfh nothing put tie rod pickle fork in hit with bfh still nothing - didn't try heat yet - anybody got another idea

it's not a carbide bit it's a carbide rod you have to put a point on the tip a machine shop will do that for you - also don't use oil on the tip -- i think the web site to get the tip is www.use-enco.com you will need a c5 or a c6 in hardness-any machine shop should be able to help you with the...

if you have a machine shop you could get them to get you a carbide rod and have them put a point on it and use that as a bit - the carbide rod is stronger than a easyout , I done a tap that broke not to long ago it takes time but it might work go slow and use cutting oil on the tip the machine...

you could drill holes at the bearing and oil but i would just change the blower - to much work to keep taking it out

I broke 3 of the 4 bolts on my 96. i got lucky and i retaped all 3 ,good luck

on obd 1 jeeps turn the key on-off-on off on than count the blinks on the check engine light

took mine off 5 years ago when i put my 3 in lift on didn't notice any difference in handling

i put a toggle sw and a double pole double throw relay in line that way i can cycle the fan on and of when i'm offroadin works great had it that way for 5 years now

there was a tech bulliten out a couple years ago to take these retainer washers off because they could damage aftermarket wheels
