Source for OE Style Brush Guard?

Thanks for the responses. I think I've decided I like the simple "push bar" type. It looks simple and utilitarian. Like the below ebay listing but just the center section. Unfortunately it looks like this was for a Dakota and someone modified it, I'd probably pass on that. I think I'm going...

Source for OE Style Brush Guard?

Hello, I have a 99 Jeep Cherokee SE in red that used to be used at a fire dept. All of their hardware was stripped, but I am trying to return it to that gruff look. But I want it to still look mostly OE. Does anyone know a source for an OE style guard as seen below? Two different styles...

    Cooling system driving me crazy

I disagree with the way Tim_MN phrased that. The way that the OP responded to that post proves my point. It leads to optimism that can blind you. Replacing components like the fan clutch, thermostat, rad hoses, electric fan, coolant, etc. will NOT fix a blown head gasket or cracked block...

Changed every cooling system component - Jeep still overheats

There's a lot of experienced folks here. I'm new to XJ life, I bought a nearly perfect 99 4.0L. A few days after purchase it started slowly overheating when loaded (highway/hot day). After replacing every cooling system component, I did a block test with the engine HOT and the cooling system...

    Overheating/running hot...

Without success, I replaced: Fan clutch Thermostat (180 deg just to rule it out) Water pump Rad hoses Heater hoses Coolant (it is perfectly clean now) ECT sensor Radiator cap Parts that are good: Fan shroud Electronic fan (switches on about 218 it seems) Tests that were done: Radiator...

    Overheating/running hot...

@xj_norcal were you able to diagnose your overheating issue? I have the identical problem and I think I have solved it.
