    Spool vs. other lockers

    I'm curious how a spool in the rear axle handles both on and off road compared to other lockers. Is tire wear a big issue with a spool? The xj is not a daily driver but it does see about 5-7k on the road a year. Thanks for any info.

    I am only using the TJ coils because they were on there when I bought it. My brother has the RE 5.5 kit on his and it works very nice. I just wasn't sure if it would flex as good with the Rusty's upper and lower control arms.

    need help

    Hi, I'm looking for some help for my 96 xj 5 spd with 4.5" lift. Last weekend I did a little wheelin with it and this week I noticed it seemed a little noisier than usual in 1st gear and in reverse. No other problems. Any ideas on what to check. Nothing looks loose. thanks for any info.
