    I think I have this thing sold but here is a pic of the latch, the spring is inside the tube and the tab on the inside is so it doesnt come loose while bouncing around. There is also a 1/2 in. piece of lexan holding it up off the main beam so it stays solid. It works great and I wasn't planning...
