97 Country

It's been empty since I've had it and I'd love to put an LED in there.

I bought a 97 OHC with the 97 harness, I hooked it all up plug and play and this is what I've gotten out of it. I took my keyless entry also and swapped it into the OHC.

Im on duty for a while but once I can I sure will try it. I hope it works, The OHCs read MPG so surely an OMB2 reader should be able too? I don't see why not?

I've got a reader and just downloaded an App for it that reads all the info including MPG. Will my 97 be compatible with this function?

All of it turns off with headlights, none of it gives any valid reading when it's on, it's all just --- or nothing. The compass MAY be the only thing working and the trip timer.

So the Overhead Consoles tell you MPG but I don't have an OHC installed in my 97 yet. I have one but I CANNOT get it to give me any readings for the life of me. Just --- on every thing. Any way, are there any other ways to read my MPG with out an OHC?

I carry a full Jerry Can of gas and a full one of tools along with steel bumpers and a winch too. Not to mention Cargo for the long trips home.

I use this as my distance commuter to work and on leave.

Could very well be the harness then, could explain why it goes off with headlights
