    Built Dana 44

    I pick up this Dana 44 fro Specfab a few years ago. It has been gone though and now has all new bearing disc brakes, 3.73 gears and ARB. I am only running 31’s so I’ll stick with the locked D30 up front.

    Or Fab bumper The different in shading is an angle change. Looking down on it the ears are parallel to the fender.

    Not hardcore but fun. Wagon train wheels cut ruts in the rock. I was 1 1/2 hrs to the nearest gas station at this point.

    Hanging iron

    Started hanging my OR Fab winch bumper today. I got it in place by dark. I'll have to figure out where to stick the controls they are tucked behind the radiator for now. I am thinking of welding returns on the ends back to the flairs. More pictures to come.

    machine shop recommendation

    I asked a mechanic friend who is a drag racer who he uses. He uses Portland Engine Builders. They know there stuff. When I called the owner answered the phone and seemed more than willing to answer my questions.

    Re: WTB ARB I agree on the Zip locker. I saw the YouTube video also. Sticking with ARB. I would rather be over built than stuck out in the back country. I would need a longer track record on the Zip.
