I did a search and couldn't find anything relevant to the issue. My buddy has a 92 or 93 automatic XJ. Not sure which engine though. The transmission will not upshift unless he lets off the gas, at whcih time it does upshift. Somebody said it might be the transmission governor having problems...
I found an XJ near me for $500. 89 4.0 AW4. It doesnt start, owner says it needs an ignition module and a new battery. Is the ICM expensive? A pain in the ass to replace? Owner says it tries to crank but does not start. Could this be the CPS also? Thanks everybody.
hey nick. i saw this on nc4x4 and thought i was going crazy when i saw it here too. i got some buddies up there who said they just met a guy who could probably help you out. he drives a taco though :thumbdn:
Idiocracy is one of my favorite movies ever. I quote it all the time and people who havent seen it look at me like im tardeded. i think its because the sheet says my shits all fucked up and i talk like a fag.:jester:
Dr. Moab, I do not see anything disgusting about how the "hillbillies" acted. They threw rocks at their cars. Try driving into Atlanta with "Fuck Rappers" written on your car and you would be dead. D E A D dead. Or, better yet, try driving through London with "The Queen Sucks" or "Soccer Sucks"...
mine was on 27's for a few days while the new tires came in. the 27's looked retarded on 3 inches. i was embarrassed driving around. if you need to do it, it will be better than having 31's with no lift.
ARMOR ALL
I used to work at Autobell, worked with armor all for a year and it did great. have been using armor all on my jeeps for a year since then, it has worked great on my cherokee and wrangler. might take a couple of coats depending on how faded they are. you will have to do this often...
