Well off I went to the dealership this morning, new filter $ 11.40. Not bad I thought, asked them to check the part number just incase, oops wrong filter ! Correct filter $ 93.55 :gag: So I will be following Wayne's suggestion.

Thats the funny thing, the main dealer has quoted an amount which I believe is incorrect as it is to low. Thats why I wanted the part number to double check. Cheers Timber, that number matches another that I was quoted on another site. I will also check US auto aswell.

No I haven't heard of Repco. Well it's off to the stealership tomorrow. We don't have a lot of options in the UK. Thanks anyway.

ok i'm a newbie with a 96 XJ, driving in 4wd full time, no idicator light for 4wd!, part time light works ok. So hoping it's the bulb or some small electrical detail, however if it isn't what are the other possibilities ?, and what checks should I carry out ?.
