    "PayDay" my 2000 XJ Build

Where did you order the carpet from? Looks like it fits well.

D35 or 8.25 driveshaft after lift?

Thanks for all the help. I tried both driveshafts, and the D35 shaft had better engagement on the SY. It did not seem to bottom out as I cycled the rear suspension either. Regardless... I ordered an advance adapter SYE and adams driveshaft. I was just looking to see which would be better to...

D35 or 8.25 driveshaft after lift?

Other than some mild vibrations from 30-40mph, everything is very smooth. I will be getting an SYE in the future though. The longer D35 appears to fit better, but I’m just questioning if it would be too long. I’m not really sure how to tell.

D35 or 8.25 driveshaft after lift?

I just lifted my 1999 XJ with an OME 3.5" lift kit, and in the process of doing so, also swapped to an 8.25 rear end from a dana 35. SO, I have an 8.25 driveshaft and a dana 35 driveshaft here to chose from. The Dana 35 driveshaft is slightly longer, and I get more engagement on the slip yoke if...

    OHC compatibility and sunroof options

Something else to consider... I wired in a Gentex auto-dimming rear view mirror with integrated compass and homelink buttons. They're super cheap on ebay... around $30. So, you could always go this route to get your homelink, and have the added perk of the auto-dimming mirror as well.

    OHC compatibility and sunroof options

I really have gotten sidetracked since I posted my thread about that cut down OHC I bought, so it's just been sitting. Before you cut yours up, I'll trade you my shortened one for your long one if you're interested in it. There are a few flat spots you may be able to integrate your sunroof...

Also, did you do any trimming or have any rubbing? Sorry for the double post.

2 door Cherokee 01 with 25,000 miles... mild build for daughters first Jeep

Man, I love it! Such a beautiful XJ. You did a 3.5” lift right? Mind sharing your tire size and wheel backspacing? Sorry, if I glazed over it in your previous posts. I have a 3.5” OME coming for my black 4 door. I can’t decide weather to keep these 17” JK MOABS and get larger tires for them, or...

I just came across and read this whole thread. Love it. Any photos of the completed build to share?

    BigNuge’s 99 XJ

Hey Stranger :laugh2: I just stumbled across this thread and said hey.... wait a minute...... haha. It was nice to see the extra details of your build here VS what you posted over on GJ. I am very afraid of having a similar experience to you with the wandering steering. Fingers crossed! How...

    Overhead Console Help

I did a little more digging, and I am 99% sure I can't do what I wanted to do. There is no "logic" built in to the OHC to turn the resistance value from the temperature sensor into a temperature. This comes from the vehicle bus.... so I will definitely have to get the data from there. Also, the...

    Overhead Console Help

The wires that go to the dome light don't have anything to do with the OHC screen, as best as I can tell. Those are just for lighting and the RKE board. This would normally be wired into the rear portion of the OHC, which would normally house the RKE board. Since I don't have the back half of...

    Overhead Console Help

Hey Guys, I have a few questions about the overhead console. I've spent a lot of time searching through various forum posts, but a lot of them link to a site that is no longer active, or contain photos that are no longer hosted. Also, what I am looking to do is a little different than I've...

    Brake help

If you have ABS, it may need to be bled. I just did my brakes and had a very soft pedal. I went out in the snow last night and jammed the brakes a few times to cycle the ABS pump and it firmed right up. Feels great now.
