    AW4 Transfercase Options

ok, isee what you're saying. but it would just be cool to have dual yota cases :D. i guess a 4:1 kit and maybe 5.89's will just have to do. thanks.

    AW4 Transfercase Options

thanks for the link. so all i need is the yota tailhousing and output shafts??? hmmmm. i might not need to go to the extreme and put duals in there, but just a yota case and 4.7's ought to be enough. plus ALOT cheaper than an atlas or stak. that's just great. has anyone done this yet???

    AW4 Transfercase Options

no engine swaps, i don't want THAT much down-time for my rig. it's a '90 MJ. stock 4.0, AW4, Dana 300, GM 44 front, GM 12 bolt rear, 5.38s, 37's blah blah blah. i like the 4.0 and the auto so i'd like to keep them. i will be using a dana 60 front, and most likely a 14bFF rear and 5.13's/5.38's...

    ON BOARD AIR

i have the stock Sanden air compressor on my MJ and my OBA setup works perfectly. just go to the junkyard and find your self an A/C compressor, bracket, and get a new belt. once you do that, it's easy.

    AW4 Transfercase Options

i have a dana 300 behind the AW4 in my manche, but even if i install a 4:1 kit in it, it still won't be enough for 42's. i need lower gearing. i hear the AW4 is the same tranny in automatic toyota mini trucks??? if so, is there any way i can slap in some yota dual cases??? is there any other...

    NEW GEARS

damn you're dumb. dude, like said before, DO MORE REASEARCH!!! you're looking at probably $200 PER AXLE if you include the install kits. and that's not including labor. IMO, buying used gears/lockers/etc. is just begging for trouble.

    SAS swap for Xterra

the calmini kit uses a Wagoneer Dana 44 from an 80-85??? with out the vacuum-disconnect. the Calmii kit is the only one out there so it's expensive and it's only for the front. they offer springs and shackles for the rear at an additional cost. the kit uses radius arms and is setup to use...

    Interior Gas Tank...

fj-40's have the tank under the passenger seat inside the vehicle.......why can't you put one inside an XJ??? i see nothing wrong with it, so long as there are no leaks. if you put a fuel cell inside you can either just open the rear hatch to fill it up, or mount a filler through one of the...

i thought i'd spend a little $$$ at Wal-Mart today. i got 6 lights for $45. i know they're cheap and crappy, but hey, they work (and not too bad, if i might add). i put two on the front bumper facing towards each of the front tires. i have two right behind the cab bolted to the side of the...
