    Where the heck is it?

Okay, checked a buddies FSM. Basically what the ballast resistor does is slows down the speed at which your fuel pump runs, therefore decreasing noise, as well as increasing the life of the pump. The only time you need its full output is when the Jeep hits WOT, and therefore the ECM kicks on...

    Where the heck is it?

The ballast resistor relay on a 1991 Cherokee. It may be back feeding into computer with the fuel pump relay and we have all sorts of weird problems.

Only runs with fuel pump relay out.

So my buddy did an engine swap in his running cherokee. Got it back together and it wouldn't run, had no spark. Well today we got spark, but it was bad spark, so we tested coil and it was good, so we swapped in a new distributor, and it got better, not perfect but good enough for now. So it...

Parting out 1988 Jeep Cherokee Laredo

As you can see, the fenders have been cut and are a little dented up, so IDK if you want them. I'd rather sell the column as a whole unit, but I have a housemate who just swapped a column out of his, so I will see if he has the bolts/screws. I have the rear driveshaft, it is an AW4 tranny, D35...

Parting out 1988 Jeep Cherokee Laredo

Hey everybody, my XJ has been sitting for a while since I got a new DD and built a bigger wheeling rig. Its basically stock, about 180k miles. Its located in Michigan. If you need parts let me know. The front grill is kind of beat up since my (insert bad word here) housemates decided it...

Help, no spark, I'm out of ideas.

Hey everybody, my housemate swapped a new engine in his 91 cherokee. It is a 1996 block and head, with the 1991 intake, sensors, and everything else. He originally had the 1996 distributor and flex plate on there, which we changed back to the 1991 tonight. I now just spent the whole night...

Disconnected the trailer hitch wiring, and it didn't do anything, gotta figure out a way to the store to get more fuses to keep checking, the flex joint is fine, no wires worn through or anything like that. Thanks for the help!
