    Control arm recommendations

Also running Core4x4 arms and track bar here, happy with their products and prices. Plus I can drive down the highway and pick things up locally.

Need help fine tuning XJ leaf springs for "overlanding"

I guess, now that I think about it, the lack of rear bumpstops could have contributed to the deterioration of the spring packs, correct?

Need help fine tuning XJ leaf springs for "overlanding"

I was just looking at their new brackets, look stout and reasonably priced. I will have to cut the factory shackle box out of the way but this would be a nice no lift option which could be combined with a shackle of my choice to fine tune the height. Thanks for the recommendation. Currently...

Need help fine tuning XJ leaf springs for "overlanding"

Hey there NAXJA, long time no see. I posted this over on ExPo but the Jeep forum over there has turned into a Wranglerfest, no real help so I a turning back to my NAXJA roots for this one. I travel all over the the west, mostly fishing, camping and exploring. Call it camping, car camping or...

Jeep XJ rear bumper/tire carrier - who makes these?

Detours, AJ's, JCR, Filthy Addiction, Rock Hard, Smittybuilt, Hanson, Dirtbound Offroad, Logan's Metal Products, Blue Lake Offroad, Ares Fab, C-Rok and I'm sure there are more. The fab shops seem to be drying up but there are also new options that didn't exist 10 years ago. I'm running an old...

    Where/what to buy, flexplate for 2000 XJ w/ AW4

Hi there, I'm having a hard time tracking down a flexplate for my 2000 Cherokee, I6 w/AW4. The local shop says they use Pioneer brand, same brand my local Autozone offers. Is Pioneer a decent quality product? I've read these things need to be spot on in terms of timing tolerances. I can't...

    Suggestions for undercoating?

I'd advise against this option based one personal experience. I've done the roll on cheap stuff and it disintegrates, chips and fades over time. Maybe the kits available now are higher quality than what I used back in the day? I like the idea of Fluid Film, will have to look into it.

Trying to track down an old winch bumper

Ya, it seems like many of the bumper manufacturers from 1-12 years ago have closed their doors and there are only a handful still mass producing XJ bumpers. Nothing against any of the current manufacturers, just want something a little different. From what I've read, people really like their...

Trying to track down an old winch bumper

Found what I was looking for after a couple days of digging around old forum posts. [Expedition One]https://i.imgur.com/M0R9ETf.jpg[/img] The bumper I was after was made by Moab 4x4 Outpost back in the day, 10+ years ago. [M40]https://i.imgur.com/0TKGOoK.jpg[/img]

Trying to track down an old winch bumper

Hi guys, been a long time since I was active here, glad to see there are some familiar names around the boards. Quick quesiton, I'm trying to track down a bumper manufacturer, or even a photo, for an XJ winch bumper that was probably produced around 10 years ago. The most unique features on...

    Suggestions for undercoating?

Depends on where I was spraying it. Just behind the rear wheel wells, where the shackle box is. I was dealing with a little bit of rust so I used a wire wheel on the rust, then a scotch pad to scuff the remaining paint/primer as well as some JB weld to fill the gaps between the pinch welds, once...
