Does it sound like crappy reception or are you getting a buzz? If it's static, is your antenna powered? If so I would guess there's probably something funny with your wiring. Where is it getting power from? Try a different antenna if you've got one.
That could be it. I hit all the lug nuts with the impact wrench because that's what I've always done and no problems. But if a stud weren't seated properly it would just spin and who'd have known the better? Perhaps it's time to start tightening them by hand. Who knows, maybe it was the impact...

All I can say is that I woke up this morning with a new found appreciation for alignments. Last night I suspected that something might happen, but never in a thousand years would I have guessed that fate.
Last night we were at my buddy Brian's place replacing the ball joints on the drivers side...
Check and make sure BOTH the positive and negative wires are reaching the speaker. If only one works your speaker will still be audible but barely. Perhaps there's a bad crimp connection in the harness? If not then hook that speaker up to the other side to rule out a bad speaker.
