Leaf Springs: Rancho? Replacement Bushings? Rubber?

Interesting. How much lift above factory heights did you experience with the OME springs?

Leaf Springs: Rancho? Replacement Bushings? Rubber?

Did you ever find a solution to this? I just found a pair of the Rancho 1.5" leaf springs and need to chase down bushing. I also would prefer rubber over their poly bushings.

What to do: OME too tall, Upcountry too short, Rancho NLA

Here they are: https://www.stinkyfab.com/products/sfr-xj-shackle-relocation-brackets Interesting. Don't the stock shackles have to be cut off?

How much of a pain were they to install?

Calling General is a good idea. I will do that to see if they have options or ideas.

What to do: OME too tall, Upcountry too short, Rancho NLA

I likely need to read more on this but how would OME (2.5") plus shackle relocation (I believe 1" or more) net less than 2.5"?

Doesn't AAL significantly change the ride, making it rough?

Thanks but already pulling a leaf nets the 2.5" and any more leafs taken from the pack weakens the pack.

What to do: OME too tall, Upcountry too short, Rancho NLA

I'm stuck in a Goldilocks situation. I've read far too many forum posts on small lifts, leaf spring options, and anything related to replacing aging suspension, and I'm still at a loss. Could use some suggestions. Rig: '00, AW4, NP231, C8.25, 150k, 235/70/16, bone stock, DD Intent: Replace the...

Finally started lifting my 99 XJ ... need thoughts

How much do you have the ACOS adjusted to match the height of the rear OME springs?

    '95 XJ 2" lift ideas

I'm curious about the 2" from OME a couple have mentioned... all I've read is, at the least, the OME rear springs will get you 2.5" above stock height since they come at 3.5" and you have to remove a leaf to drop it. Unless I'm missing something, I don't believe 2" can be obtained through OME...

    Future XJ Build Plans

I feel I have to pile on too... With full bumpers, re-gearing, brake kit, and a very good lift, I also don't see you coming in under $10k unless the XJ is free to you. My lite build is already at $6k with $3k in the Jeep and only suspension work - no gearing, haven't done the bumpers or rack...

Yeah, I think the shipping from Florida would probably be too much. Which is too bad

Could use a towing hitch - any for sale?

Hey all, I just picked up a 2000 without a hitch and I could use one for some trip coming up. Anyone have a hitch they're willing to sell? Would prefer factory but I guess I can't be too picky. Thanks!
