Does anyone out there know what pins on the ECU corrispond with the IAC on the throttle body... I have a IAC motor that isn't working. Before I go throwing money at it... Some wire testing could be in order. Thanks for any help you can give me... :yelclap:

On which side of the under dash is the ECU? On my 90 I have a yellow box on the drivers side with it looks like speed adjusters... could that be the control for the cruise? And finally can it run, ie. atart and idle without the ECU pluged in? Sorry for the bonehead questions...:D

Does anyone out there know the size of the roll pin that holds the gear on the distibutor shaft.

Just lately I had that same problem and it turned out to be the starter... replaced it no problems now. Try it might work for ya... Good luck :thumbup:

Well, I am forever in your debt !!! I took the origional relay apart and cleaned and tweeked the contacts a little. And traced voltage down to but not through the selonid. So I replaced the starter and wammo it starts wonderfully... The new starter even spins fast enough to make my long...

So trying to bypass the NSS is pretty much useless. I disconnected the black/white wire going to the NSS and jumpered that terminal to ground. I guess there is somemore jumpering to do somewhere... I am just trying to troubleshoot the way I was taught... Looking at the wiring diagram it looked...
