    whos going

Well guys, it pains me to say it, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it this year. Too much going on to justify spending the money to go.

    Weather ...

That's awesome! I couldn't do it, I get frustrated too easily with electrical work, particularly with small circuits that my fat fingers can't work with. I just wanna make stuff go fast haha. Endurance racing is the dream job out of school. My tent cot leaks...unless I remember the rain fly.

Sweet! Electrical kinda sounded like suicide to me, so I went with mechanical tech haha. In 2 years I should be graduating. It's awesome how many engineers there are in the Jeep world

Things to know for a first timer

Both of these. I made the mistake last year of not bringing enough beer AND not bringing rain gear. I was soaked and sober. It sucked. At least till I went to the sketchy gas station the next county over and bought beer.

I didn't know you were an engineer. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say mechanical?

    1997 ZJ for sale

I have a 1997 ZJ I'm trying to get rid of. It has a 4.0/42RE/NP242. It runs very well and drives decent. There's a "shimmy" in the front end (I believe a proper alignment will fix it). It has 235,000ish miles on it. The muffler was falling apart when I got it, and it has now finished falling...

    Weather ...

Partly cloudy and 18.3°C. Maybe a 5-10 minute drizzle just to make the dirt kind of tacky and eliminate dust. I'd love to wheel without my doors this year.

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Went up to Boone to celebrate my best friend from high school's birthday. Took the XJ down Richland Rd, which was an absolute blast. I'm more than pleased with how it's performing. I need rear bumpstops bad though!

    Aaron's Ride

In! Rode with Aaron for this ride last year, and he even let me drive his Jeep. Definitely an awesome ride if for nothing else, the scenery

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Got a tag for the XJ, and finally discovered the cause of my camber issues (I think). Hopefully fixing my rear shock mounts this weekend

Weekend is over...what did you get done?

Swapped control arms on the XJ to some of the correct length. Finished breaking in the motor, played in the snow, changed ball joints....ball joints are the devil. I hate doing the damn things. Every time I do them it starts out going awesome, then all hell breaks loose and it takes 10 times as...
