Hey guys, I just snagged an auto-dimming mirror from a junkyard ZJ Limited for 5$. Problem is, I didn't look to see what year it was, and now I can't figure out the wires. There are 3 that plug into the rear. Colors are (L to R) yellow/green,solid black, brown green. Any ideas which is power...
hole in roof + rtv gasket (black) = No leaks!
Not the prettiest... but who sees the roof but you anyway? I ran the wire for my lghts up the a pillar and then through the roof, its much better looking than going through the door jam and around the drip rail.
Just my $.02

Ill pull it - having just put new pinion bearings in, id hate to destroy them. Someone told me it might be an axle shaft u-joint but mine are less than 1 year old, and were fine before. I seriously doubt that pulling the shafts to regear could damage a u-joint....
Now I'm getting a strange noise from the front of my jeep. I had my axles geared to 4.56 at a local truck shop, and Immediately upon leaving I noticed something was a bit off, but I chocked it up to being tire noise. So I decided to take it on the highway, and after i passed about 45-50 mph...
