    ZJ Auto Dimming Rear-View Mirror

Hey guys, I just snagged an auto-dimming mirror from a junkyard ZJ Limited for 5$. Problem is, I didn't look to see what year it was, and now I can't figure out the wires. There are 3 that plug into the rear. Colors are (L to R) yellow/green,solid black, brown green. Any ideas which is power...

In Dash Nav Install 96 XJ

hole in roof + rtv gasket (black) = No leaks! Not the prettiest... but who sees the roof but you anyway? I ran the wire for my lghts up the a pillar and then through the roof, its much better looking than going through the door jam and around the drip rail. Just my $.02

Mean green alt for a 98 XJ

x2 I had to grind about 1/2 inch x 6 inches of metal off my bracket to make the MG work. But it is an awesome alternator. I have a 96' - dunno if they changed the bracketry later on.

Perilli Scorpion ATRs or Goodyear MT/Rs

That rotation is the key on the mtr's. I work at a tire shop and from my experience if you dont rotate those every 3-5k miles they will chop badly. From what Ive heard they arent the best on wet pavement, actually pretty bad, but that without aftermarket sipes. I run the BFG at/ko and I...

    Just Regeared and...

Yeah, this is getting pretty frustrating, and the noise is becoming more frequent, ie at lower speeds. I dont want to damage anything. The u-joints are from Precsion, are greasable, and are less than a year old. What gives!?!

Unless youre refering to a front sye (which ive never heard of) then yes, ive already got one. BTW, Boom, did you have to grind the tips of two teeth of your ring gear to get the center pin out? Superior told the shop that did my gears to do that and i thought it was strange. That was on the...

Ill pull it - having just put new pinion bearings in, id hate to destroy them. Someone told me it might be an axle shaft u-joint but mine are less than 1 year old, and were fine before. I seriously doubt that pulling the shafts to regear could damage a u-joint....

Boomhauer, Ive never heard of doing that. What might that accomplish?

As stated in the first post, i did lube the front DS. But pulling it to check sounds like a good idea to me. Any other ideas?

    Just Regeared and...

Now I'm getting a strange noise from the front of my jeep. I had my axles geared to 4.56 at a local truck shop, and Immediately upon leaving I noticed something was a bit off, but I chocked it up to being tire noise. So I decided to take it on the highway, and after i passed about 45-50 mph...
