Today I shifted 1-2 under full throttle and it was mush. It's a lot firmer under part throttle. Which is exact opposite of what i was expecting. At some point I think I'll tear it apart and do the hotrod shift.

How are your shifts? 1-2 feels ok but the rest are mush. I did the truck shift

I just did my TransGo kit today (minus 1st gear hold). All I've done so far was fill with fluid and started the engine to cycle between P, R, N, D. Seems to all be working. So after reading some of that thread, if I'm using a rail shifter and if I tighten the TV cable, it kind of makes the kit pointless, right?

Just got my Rock shifter and rail shifter installed. Now I'm going to be installing the TransGo kit. Depending on the size of a few holes I need to enlarge, it can make the shifts feel like a truck, or a hotrod. But I'm not really sure what the difference would be. I'm guessing it has something...

If it were me I would do one of 2 things (or both), get pods that fit in the holes in the bumper. Get some good headlights, like Truck-Lites.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. I'm converting from the ax15 to the AW4 using the rail shifter and the rock shifter. I'm wondering about the kickdown cable, do I need to hook it up to the throttle linkage? Could I just remove the cable? I don't know if it would freak the tranny out if it never...

I'm running waggy axles also. They are narrower than stock XJ axles. With 3.5 backspace wheels I'm running 3in spacers in the back and 2inch in the front. Just an FYI
