I believe you have a ballast resistor on the driver side inner fender. Check wires, and if connected try jumping them together. It was used in early XJs for fuel pump noise. Will work fine bypassed if that is the issue. Sent from my SM-N986U using Tapatalk

Stock, there is not much adjustment. Best to get underneath and check the linkage. You can also disconnect the linkage and move the lever manually to confirm if there is an issue with the transfer case itself. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Sounds like TCU issue. It controls the 2nd gear solenoid. Unless the solenoid has failed, itself. If you need to drive it, disconnect the TCU. And you are going to have to manually shift it. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

I believe the point is that one should adjust headlights when installing a lift. I will stick with my H4 housings with Hella bulbs and upgraded harness.

Unless you get the 35 for free, don't waste your money. With some minor modification a Ford 8.8 out of a 95-00ish Explorer with install with ease. You will also get disc brakes and most likely limited slip.
