Agreed, ehall. I just happen to have a set of 5/8" bolts, so I'm looking for a way to widen the holes, otherwise it's a new set of plates. Any ideas?

For those of you that upgraded to 5/8" ruff stuff u-bolts, did you have to bore out the holes on the plates? What kind of bit did you use to do this?

Resurrecting an old thread, but I didn't see this asked.... Wouldn't most of the gain in the rear come from just cutting and folding in the back, up to the stock flare location and being done with it? It doesn't look like there's much to gain from relocating the flare.
