My 90 XJ was doing that also. I can't remember now, I either just cleaned the IAC valve and opening or replaced it. Try to clean it first with some throttle body cleaner. Jet

I cut the front seat supports from a Junked 94 XJ at the Pic a Part. And welded them in to my 90 XJ. Then mounted Grand Cherokee seats onto 94 and up Manual XJ seat mounts. Not exactly bolt in. But much nicer then the stock seats and more comfortable then the 94 and up seats. Jet

If you went the 5.9 Magnum, and you don't want to run EFI. Couldn't you just use a Carb and regular manifold? I'm not much into the Mopar stuff, New into the Jeeps. Mainly Ford stuff before my jeep. I know even on the Ford 4.6 mod motor you can run a carb on them now. Jet

I used 16ga when I replaced the floor in the back of my XJ. Picked it up at a local steel supply company. (Indy) Probably some place in your area will have material. Jet
