    Anyone w/ 4.56's, 5 speed and 33's

Personally, id go with 4.88's if you have the rear end to support it(D44 or better). I run 4.88s with 33's on my XJ and it runs just fine on the highway. At 70 MPH, its turning about 2900 or so RPM....its hummin along pretty good but far from screamin. Around town its great...off-road its...

    AXLES FOR 36 IROKS

BIG X2!!! Alloy shafts in the front(with upgraded joints) and rear and youll be fine!! The 44 is plenty strong with alloy shafts and the 30 will last if you keep your foot out of it. Ive seen guys wheel with 37's with semi built 30/44's and they did just fine. Just remember though, driving...

    Catalytic Converters

And they probably wont do a thing to it unless its causing problems with opperation....it just rattling isnt really cause for replacement unless its causing performance problems or isnt passing smog.

    SYE needed ?!

You WILL get some form of vibes with a 4.5 inch lift...i dont care what anyone says....the degree of severity is what will vary. Do it right the first time and save yourself some heartache later down the road....get an SYE!!

    4.88 and 33s?

I run 4.88's with 33's with a 4.0 and an AX-15....at 70 MPH, i run right at about 3000 RPM and get about 17 MPG. Zero regrets and it will be a little better around town if and when i upgrade to 35's.

    airsoft for tire balancing

Adding too much wont really have a negative affect...within reason....im sure if you went and stuffed 10 pounds worth in each tire, there might be a problem. Most cases that ive seen of people not being pleased with bead balancing tires have been due to cases of bent or out of round rims, or...

which control arms.. TNT, RE, or ORGS/JKS

Id go with the TNT or the RE's....the TNT's will probably be a bit cheaper though.

    Got another xj

If your looking for 31's, ive got a set of cheapo no name 31x10.50s mounted on 5 spoke Jeep alloys that id sell for CHEAP...thier not all that agressive and the sidewalls have seen better days, but theyve got good tread, do just fine off-road and they hold air! Send me a PM if your interested...

    4.56 or 4.88 on 35"

Like others have stated, it will not be worth while to go to 4.88s if you already have 4.56s. If you want more gear, do an axle swap and put in 5.13's. The difference between 4.56 and 4.88 when crawling isnt really even noticable.

    which one?

3/16th super rails....i run em and love em!

Locked Front Consensus from Those Who Know

This has been the cause of all my failures....started tack welding the caps in place and have yet to bust one with 33's, locked with a heavy foot.

Locked Front Consensus from Those Who Know

I run a full detroit in the front of my non-disco D30....on the street in 2WD, i dont hear so much as a peep from it and notice no notable handling quirks. In 4WD, it acts just like any other locker on any other axle. Lock it and pay no attention to the nay-sayers.
