not to sound like a jerk, but why is your shackle anything but 90 degrees? mine is 90 with a treaflex 1.75 in shackle on 5.5 in re full leaf pack, j/w your axle must not be shimmed at all

I have an re 5.5 on my xj. very happy with it other than started hearing a "thump" did the usual inspection, and the control arm bushing are split in half and about to break, allowing axle travel. does anyone know if antother brand of bushings will fit? or do i have to contact re for a new set...

actually im leaning towards rear end, once it hits the stopping spot in reverse, even in neutral it will not move backwards. bad spider gears, or ring and pinion lost a tooth? anyone think thta is plausible
