Ok so if anyone ever does this swap the solution is easy!!! Dont worry about the input speed sensor. Get the older single pulse reluctor ring and swap it in the extension housing. Need the older styler sensor and hold down. Make a simple bushing to make the snsor fit and grind down the hold down...

Dont quote me on this but in 96-97 for one year or so they changed the aw4 a little. Added a input speed sensor and the tcu computer was changed. Until then the tcu is all stand alone as far as i know. As far as a fix, im going to the just yard tm to pull the extension housing off a older aw4...

Ok this is what i found in the aw4 troubleshout in 1996, the AW4 transmission added a front input speed sensor and the rear speed sensor changed from a 1-pulse/rev reed sensor to a 4-pulse/rev magnetic sensor. For this reason, if you are planning a swap you should try to keep the same year...

According to the GPS i go 2 mph slower than what my speedometer says. So i auctually get more miles per gallon than what im really getting. Does anyone know how to figure in the 2mph off in my gas milage? Thanks!!!!

Well i took my flares off dont look to bad. Im goin to trim the front but as for in the rear what did do you do? Ive seen your not soposed to trim past the pinch weld or youll have a hole. Ive got 4.5in and 32's. I cant find the link on how to roll the rear metal in.

Im going to fab my own sway bar disconnects. But not sure which way to build them. Whats the best and easiest way to disconnect and connect them? To have them stay connected to the sway bar and disconnect at the bottom and swing them up out of the way. Or to just have it where you pull the hitch...

yeah ive done my brakes plenty of times and no rattels. I havent had any squeeks with out them i was just wondering how they went on? I looked in the chilton manual i had but no good picture or explaination

i was working on my brakes and my new calipers and pads came with some antirattel clips. Mine never had any on it and i put it together with out them. Works fine but i couldnt even figure out how they were soposed to even go on? Does any on have a pic.
