Complete Cooling System Refresh - Need opinions

I just ordered a CSF 3 Row all metal radiator today from 1-800-Radiator. A little over $200 and delivered in a few hours. Looks awesome! Very nice design. Also got my Flowkooler in. Now I just need an OEM lower Radiator hose, Fan Clutch, and all heater hoses and thermostat housing and I should...

Did your Crown Radiator hoses have the factory spring inside? Did the Thermostat have the factory drilled hole?

Complete Cooling System Refresh - Need opinions

I am about to do the same type of upgrades to my jeep. I was looking at the CSF 3 Row radiator. I was wondering about the Flowkooler water pump. Anyone had any luck with these? Or are the OEM the best units for the XJ?

Death wobble on my friends 90 XJ

There is definitely something going on in the suspension. Could be something loose like everyone else said. Trac-bar and control arm bushings are the first thing I always recommend. Next would be steering geometry like Blondejoncherokee said. Make sure trackbar and draglink are parallel. You...

Vibrations (not good) klnd of long

I'm glad to hear that you fixed your vibration problem!! I suffered from a very bad vibration problem myself and can understand the frustration. I was running a hack-n-tap flange sye on my np242 t-case. I had it on for years with no problems. I had two CV shafts go out on me, and at the time I...

HELP!!!! Jeep not safe for family

First thing is see is the spot where you wrote Rugged Ridge steering. I have had so many of those Tie Rod units get returned do to shaking and shimmy in the front. (I work at 4wheelparts) Your unit might possibly not have an issue but I have had a few returned and swapped for a Currie steering...

Leaky P/S resevoir + White Smoke?

I kinda like the idea of cutting the old line off.....but I am kind of limited on my tool selection. I tried for like 2 hours yesterday with an 18mm crows foot and could not for the life of me get the fitting loose. I did loosen the upper fitting, but it looks as if I didnt tighten back on...

Leaky P/S resevoir + White Smoke?

Ok so how in the heck do you get the lower high pressure fitting off of the steering gear?? I tried using an 18mm crows foot but could not for the life of me get the fitting loose. I used almost a whole bottle of penetrating oil. Any trick to getting these off? I removed the air intake to get a...

Leaky P/S resevoir + White Smoke?

So whats the best way to go about changing the hose? Do I undo the lower hose and let all the fluid drain out? Is there a way to keep the fluid from spilling out? Or is it better to just put all new fluid back into the unit. Will I also need to bleed the system when installing new fluid.

Leaky P/S resevoir + White Smoke?

Thank you everyone for chiming in. I believe it is the P/S fluid that is my main problem. I bought the high pressure line today and hopefully can change it in the next few days. I looked at my manifold this morning and do have a very big crack in it. So I know that is in need of fixing. I...
