I have personally used the harbor frieght wire feed welder....TRASH...It broke instantly after 3 seconds of use. Won't feed the wire. I think it has enough power for sheet metal, but it is such garbage. Their stick welder is ok.....if you have to but I agree with the above posts about burning...

I have a similar popping noise just as I start to make a slow RIGHT turn. it is just one pop and then no other noise. Also, I can cycle the steering back and forth, and the popping does not occur everytime. helps when I am driving in a neighborhood and right before I turn into a driveway...
