As mentioned above, make sure you budget for a CV shaft and SYE. The RE 3.5 gave me about 5" of actual lift.
5" of lift? Wow, I don't know if my truck would fit in the garage. That part scares me. It seems everyone get more lift with the RE. Does it settle down after a while? If I get the...
My vehicle:
1998 stock engine and drivetrain
2" bb with Procomp 9000 shocks that I will REPLACE with the new suspension
30 X 9.5 mud terrain that I will be keeping
some other stuff....
I do moderate off-roading, but don't want to be left behind if the trail gets difficult. And it is my daily...
Man this message board is full of a-holes. Who cares if it a repost! Do you have nothing better to do than call out everyones reposts or complain when someone asks a question that someone has already asked?
Anyway....back to the original topic. Who goes off-roading wearing a suit?

Sears. $25 for a Craftsman beam torque wrench.
How can someone modify a Xj and not be able to locate a torque wrench? How could you possible sit on your computer and not be able to think of where to buy one? Wow. Scary thought.
And to top it off there are about 5 replys with no suggestion...
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one with common sense in this world. Have any of you driven a vehicle with a limited slip in the rear on slippery roads? Whether locked or limited slip powering through a corner will be hairy! A simple solution is to learn how to drive and don't get on the...
It takes less than 5 min to unscrew the top swaybar link bolt and zip tie the sway bar threw the hole in the frame rails right next to it. Then just pivot the links down to the axle. Put the bushings and nuts in a bag and your done. No problems and its free.
