Wonder how bogus it would be to just put the pinion nut back to the same position it was............... I guess it would be a risk...........

Can I just mark the position of the pinion nut, remove the nut, replace the seal and then reinstall with the nut in the original position, or should I use a torque spec?
My confusion is the crush washer inbetween the two sets of pinion bearings, does it have to be replaced?
Had mine for 5 years and LOVE em. The ride and flex on the trail is unreal, all for 150.00!!! Would not give them up for anything. I did have to make a slight mod on the rear hanger box/bracket so they would not hit it. Check out...

I installed them when I had different amps, as one would over heat and shut off. When that amp died, the one I replaced it with don't need the fans. Got them wired up where a flip of a switch disables them and that is the way they stay..............
I put it in the doors and the hatch one day and could not believe the difference it made with road and wind noise. Being greedy like I am, thinking if a little is good, what about a whole bunch.
I did leave it off the very bottom of all panels for the moisture thing.
