Interesting.. I'm actually looking up the same exact thing! The grinding is getting annoying so I figured its time to get it all fixed up. Although I don't think its the hub anymore. I noticed that there is a ridge on the outside of the rotor like the pad is too narrow for the rotor. :anon:

Have a question about your reversing rule.. That that only include using the reverse gear.. What if i throw in the clutch and roll backwards??

Run the the junker yard, and measure it. If it fits the hole and doesn't hit the radiator.. do it up!

the thule rack is a bit more stout than the factory rack. If you have the money laying around and want to do it, its great. Although the factory rack works great as well. I find my factory rack flexs and i don't like that. ?? what kind of problems? no problem with Bikes, Skis, snowboards...
