OKay, this could be the answer to the problem. I know I turned the dampner to the 0 mark and droped inthe distributor. The rotor is at #1 when I put it at 0 mark. But I will confirm that it is at TDC compression just to be sure. If it was 180 degs out, would it cause a string smell of gas...
