Thats me, i was headed from work to school. about 29's for tires though. almost burnt threw them so they will be upgraded later this year.
Also about a week ago saw a 97+ red xj 5"+, 33's+ driving down Kennedy Road in Windsor.
Is anyone wheeling tomorrow, Nov 27th, at Rausch? Im down here with my buddy in his jk and our group got disbanded due to breaks. Were just looking for a group to wheel with tomorrow.
thanks for the help.... replaced the CPS today, gunna drive it tomorrow to hopefully have it fixed. have to replace the alternator too cuz it on its way out... after that it should be good to go for awhile.
i was out driving it again today and my oil pressure is higher then normal right now and also had a noise that sounded like a cricket while stopped at stop signs...
within the past week or two my 99 xj (almost 140k) has been shutting off on me while im driving, although it doesnt sputter or anything just dies. the first couple of times i was able to fire it right back up and keep driving but now it wont. the first time it wouldnt restart i had jumpers on it...
ok finally decided to just drill a small hole in the exhaust side of teh frame rail and used a punch and hammer to back out the easy out... whats the easiest and best way to get the bolt out now without damaging the threads too bad
i already have the leaf pack out by sawzalling it and ill have to try heating it some more. wsa thinkin if i found any of that new loctite freeze n release stuff try and shrink the bolt out of the hole
was removing the passenger side leaf spring in my 99 xj and snapped the front bolt. i drilled it out and then tried an easy-out on it that ended up snapping in the hole.
i have tried to drill out the easy out, drill around it to try to pop it out, hammer and punch to try to break it up, used...
