aside from needing to find a totaled kj crd, does the kj us the aw4 tranny/is the output shaft from the engine the same as the 4.0 i6? sure the computer would have to be swapped, but anything else I don't know about? the specs look promising: 2.8L 4 Cylinder Turbo Diesel engine that produces...

important thing to remember is the SPEC of loctite.... you can download the manuals and read (it has been 6 years since I practiced - read: was employed - as a mechE). red is "permenant" up to a certain bolt size (1/4-20 I believe) and then it is as effective as "blue' start here...

I am going to swap the front for a 76 f250 hp44, using realtively stock/RE suspension. going the cut down the axle to be ~ the same wms-wms as the rear d44. Curious, I will have to change the front wheel pattern from stock (and will change the back to match)... so I could go larger (say 16")...
